3rd ICPC: Shanghai 2010
The 3rd ICPC Conference was held in Shanghai, China, on November 7 - 10, 2010.
Being previous editions Houston in 2006, covering mainly the Americas’ region); and Valencia in 2008, covering mainly the European region; China, was choosen for 2010 edition to involve as much as possible the Asia Pacific region as it represents one of the most emerging markets in todays Polyolefins' industry.
The Technical Program was focused on Separation and Fractionation, Morphology, Rheology, Spectroscopy and Modelling, with 35 Oral and 45 Poster Presentations.
116 Delegates from 18 countries attended this edition and got involved in an Polyolefin Characterization expertise and consolidated group.
The Short Course on Polyolefin Characterization techniques, was described by most of the attendees, 40 delegates, as excellent in terms of technical content and value of the provided information.
On this edition Professor Dujin Wang from the Institute of Chemistry of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (ICCAS) joint the Technical Committe.
3rd ICPC was supported once more by several top Petrochemical and Instrumentation players, such as The Dow Chemical Company (as Major Sponsor), ExxonMobil, Ningbo Dacheng Advanced Material Co., SCG Chemicals, Agilent Technologies, Malvern Instruments, Polymer Char, Postnova Analytics and Wyatt Technology.
